Charlotte tornado damage

All of this is in my daughter's neighborhood.

After we get 3 tornado warnings we are in our basement.
Our neighbors come over because . . . we have a basement.
My wife calls our daughter, she is like, "big woop".
5 minutes later she dives into her pantry, dragging her petrified dog.

My daughter's house is the "heart" a couple streets away on the GPS

The storm hit around noon. These pictures were taken around 5:00 PM the next day.

At least 4 vehicles ended up with "tree damage".

Here's a closeup.

Many of the trees got snapped off 20'-30' up in the air. Look up to the right of that house.

Hard to see, but it crushed that roof.

There were at least 10 tree crews cutting and chipping debris in just this neighborhood.

These two cars are just across the street from my daughter's house.
The owner was just about to move the cars when it hit. He was lucky.

Behind my daughters house.  Notice the broke off trees high to the right of the house.
They had a little roof damage and the rear window of her car got blown out.

The white truck (w/red tail light only) had just left that house after getting the work and leaving the sign.
I let him merge in front of us and he turned down the next side street to drum up more work.

4 or 5 trees snapped off right above the police car.
We are driving home through Matthews.
